This afternoon I had the opportunity to take photos of Comedian/Author/Entertainer Steve Harvey.

Steve is in town promoting his bestseller, "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man." Harvey is also doing a comedy show with his Nephew Tommy tomorrow night at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis. I'll be in attendance of course, but before the show I stood in line for 40 minutes with the rest of his fans waiting for him to show up. No one was disappointed because even though we were early, Steve showed up at exactly 5pm.

No one was tense or angry, just excited. It was amazing when he drove up and got out of his vehicle. I didn't see which vehicle he got out of because I was inside the store. However, I knew he was here when I suddenly heard screams from the line of fans outside Left Bank Book Store in downtown St. Louis.

Steve was very down to earth, no star tripping here...just Steve. He shook hands as he came in, smiling that 1000-watt smile of his, accomodating each fan. Making everybody who was in line feel special.

I've photographed lots of celebrities before, and did not know what to expect. After they all, even though we see celebrities on television, at the show, etc., the bottom line is they are still people. People who get tired, disappointed, all of that.

But, Steve did not disappoint his waiting fans. I mean, the line outdoors seemed to be wrapped around the building. Take a look at these photos I took of Steve, he was very accomodating, Boom, his security dude did not try to twist my body in a pretzel for taking his client's photos. No, instead, Boom was the nicest, big man I've ever met. LOL Boom...

Alright, that's it for today, and thanks for dropping by Teasas World!
