Is that a condition? I don't know, but my right toes have been sore, so I haven't able to get back on the treadmill. Bummer. I really enjoyed that walk. Just being able to get a readout on my brother in laws exercise machine made me feel like I was accomplishing something.

Here are my numbers:

On 8/14 I logged 2 miles on the treadmill.
For a total of 51 minutes and 10 seconds
Burning 284 calories
My pulse was 117
The speed walked was 2.7mph
And 88.4 fat/gm

Maybe it's time for some more New Balance's. I've had these for a few months now and they may be losing some of their support. My foot surgeon told me once that if you pay attention to your shoes, you can feel the support in them diminish. I believe I'm more sensitive to this, or either I'm just a weenie. LOL.

My food intake for the day was a little off, I'm taking a short break to attend my family reunion in St. Louis. I'm staying with my oldest sister, and this is good. There aren't a lot of temptation foods here. She has lupus and her husband is pretty health conscious, so my need for more carbs are under arrest here.

In the morning, I had 1/2 cup of coffee
Sometime mid-morning I had a 16 oz. diet Lipton green tea
17 ounces of water (I know, I was way under the limit on this day.)

For lunch I had:
3 ground turkey tacos w/lettuce, tomato, cheese, fresh jalapeno peppers, homemade salsa, corn tacos--(sin #1)

I shouldn't have piled it on, like I did, but oh well I don't think they were too harmful.

Dinner time was of a light variety. We had homemade fresh chicken salad with mayonnaise based dressing. Topped off with Wheatables Wheat Thin Crackers.
My liquid of choice: 12oz. Budweiser Select (sin #2).

I had 2 really big diet no-nos today and that was the super sized turkey tacos and the beer. The turkey tacos were the right idea, but when I started adding all the toppings, I got a bit carried away. I took a great lunch and piled it on with calories, thus defeating my goal of weight loss and a more healthy lifestyle.

The beer was kind of self destructive as well. My sister has an Ab-Lounge and working on that these last couple of days has been the greatest thing since sliced bread. I mean, my abs can actually be felt; no longer must they hide underneath gobs of fat; they are making a presence. I must admit that Ab Lounge isn't the miracle machine the infomercials make it out to be. However, my abs were receiving a workout anyway with the daily walks I take. The Ab Lounge is just firming up loose skin.

About this treadmill toe thing, I wonder how long it will take to heal? I don't want it to affect my outdoor walking when I return home. Oh well, I'll just take care of it. I guess it didn't help that I was playing softball at the reunion picnic yesterday, huh?

Is it Monday already?----???
